MAKE A SEPARATE BIN AND NAME IT BARS AND TONE SLATE


TO CREATE TONE

• Open the Audio Tool
• Choose Peak Hold
• Choose Create Tone Media
• -20db is the default industry standard
• Tone Media – 1000 Hz or 1 Kz
• Set Time – (up to 60 seconds)
• Set Tracks (1-16)
• Choose Bin and Drive and OK and it creates a Tone Clip in my Bin


IMPORT COLOR BARS

• File – Import – Application Folder (Media Composer or Adrenaline) – Supporting Files Folder – Test Pattern Folder – NTSC – SMPE_Bars.pct file (but before clicking on OK, go to Options and choose
•  601, Non-Square
• Color Levels, choose 601
• File Field Order, Choose Even
• Alpha (doesn’t matter what I choose)
• Set Time I want
• Choose a Resolution and Drive
